Lucchese boots started in the 1880’s when Sam Lucchese came to America with the desire to be a boot maker. He established his company in San Antonio Texas… the place where you would naturally assume a line of western boots to originate. In the 1960’s his grandson, also named Sam Lucchese, changed the way Lucchese boots made their boots, and because of his great attention to detail, and careful thought about how the human foot is shaped, he was able to focus on making boots that truly fit a foot, and were comfortable and durable. His design was the work of a skilled craftsman, and they definitely took more time to create, but they were soon recognized above other boots as being almost a separate breed.
Even with the all the advances in shoe making and the use of machines over the past 50 or so years, Lucchese boots has held firm to the belief that the human hand is what makes the difference in the quality of their boots. Making a Lucchese boot takes more time than other competing boots. They do use machines to help aid in the construction of their quality boots, but they hand drive the nails in their boots and Lucchese boots has each boot hand inspected twice. All the extra work they put into making their boots shows in the quality that you can get.
Lucchese boots offers so many different styles it’s almost too many to narrow it down to the one you will want. I guess you’ll just have to purchase a few of their boots! Whether you are looking for a classic cowboy boot for you men out there, or a hot and sexy red cowgirl boot for the Ladies; you will find that the quality and comfort of Lucchese boots is unmatched.
