Sorel Shoes

When my sister moved away to college to the snowy Wasatch Mountains.; the one thing she wanted to buy before she left was a pair of Sorel Shoes. I didn’t quite understand what Sorels were or why they were so important to her until I went to visit over a long weekend. It was winter and it was cold. I remember the whole weekend I just kept thinking that my feet would never be dry. I slipped on ice on the stairs to her dorm, and that’s when I realized that she knew she needed to be prepared for harsh winters and that was why she wanted to buy a pair of Sorel Shoes and Boots before she left.

In the 1960’s Sorel shoes started the trend of removable liners in their boots. They also started combining leather tops with rubber bottoms. Their goal was to make their boots very comfortable, while still making them durable and water resistant; essential to footwear for the snow. If you like winter sports, whether you just want to have a snow-ball fight, go snowmobiling or sledding. Sorel offers many styles of boots to meet your footwear needs.

Sorel shoes make their boots for men , women and children and they really have such a large selection to choose from, not just colors, but different styles too. A little bit of nostalgia for you: when I was younger and snowboarding was very new, they only made ski boots, but no one had started making boots for snowboarders yet. All my friends bought Sorel shoes to wear when they went snowboarding. They were warm and well made.
